Addressing the Skill Gap in the UK Construction Industry
The Task
The Collaborative Learning Circle (CLC) is a learning and development forum partnering with companies within the highways industry. Launched in 2018, a core part of the initiative is an e-learning platform designed to deliver collaborative-based learning. The CLC which was founded by Kier Highways, Toppesfield, and other leading industry partners, support the OnSide Charity through fundraising and addressing the skill gap in the UK construction industry.
Our Achievements
The CLC raised over £70,000 to support OnSide charity and hosted a Career Awareness Day engaging with students to highlight rewarding long-term career paths within the construction industry. The CLC were appointed winners of ‘The Leaders in Collaboration Award’ at the NCE100,
