The Project
Working for client VolkerFitzpatrick, Toppesfield were contracted to undertake a scheme of works comprising of planing and relaying the surface course of two taxiways after delivering crack repairs, along with surfacing works to two hard standing areas.
Our Work
Delivering over various visits, on a combination of both day and night shifts, Toppesfield worked collaboratively with both VolkerFitzpatrick and Glasgow Airport to organise a delivery schedule to suit the daily operations of the busy airport and minimise disruption.
Having a wealth of experience working on various high profile aviation projects, Toppesfield’s team of skilled operatives delivered over 2,400 tonnes of various material, including Marshall Asphalt and a Modified Airfield SMA.
Priding ourselves on using local labour resources where possible, Toppesfield employed local contractors to deliver the planing and testing works.
