The Project

Toppesfield provided Breheny with a sustainable surfacing solution for the newly constructed Bury St Edmunds Eastern Relief Road, part of a £15 million Suffolk County Council project. Using ToppBase, Toppesfield’s economical foamed bitumen asphalt that incorporates recycled aggregates, we were able to save on both time and labour costs for our client.

The new relief road joins Skyliner Way in Bury St Edmunds, with Junction 14 of the A14 and includes realignment of the A14 slip roads.
