On Friday 16th October the new A14 to M6 link was opened to traffic, a major achievement in the M1 J19 improvement project. This section of road runs beneath the M1.
Toppesfield worked both day and night, to ensure this new direct link opened safely and on time ensuring minimal delay to the traveling public
Before work commenced at Junction 19 there was limited access between the M6, M1 and A14, which caused congestion at this section of the road network.
