New recruits for the Toppesfield team!
Toppesfield has successfully bid for three owls at a charity auction for the Big Hoot campaign in support of the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity’s £3.65m Star Appeal.
The Big Hoot saw a colourful invasion of individually designed, 5 foot tall owls, which lined the streets of Birmingham throughout the summer, with the auction set up to find them new homes and raise significant funds for the charity.
Toppesfield won the bidding for owls named The Big Hoot, Jack and Clash. The Big Hoot will reside at Toppesfield’s new regional office in Birmingham, whilst Jack and Clash will be homed at the company’s head office in Suffolk.
The auction took place at Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum and in total raised more than £530,000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity’s £3.65m Star Appeal. This appeal will enable the creation of a Rare Diseases Centre in the UK specifically for children, the first of its kind. It will provide co-ordinated care, treatment, support and most importantly hope to children and families living with a rare or undiagnosed condition.
Toppesfield CEO and founder, Matthew Pryor, said: “The auction was a fantastic event. We are privileged to have been part of such a momentous evening, supporting such a worthy cause as the Star Appeal. We are delighted to welcome these cheerful new team members to the Toppesfield family and hope they make people smile.”
