Adam is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Midlands and North maintenance department. This includes pre-planned preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance in response to unplanned issues. Coordinating these works effectively ensures that all our gangs in the region have reliable access to the plant and machinery they need for each surfacing project.
His role takes full advantage of his mechanical knowledge and communication skills, requiring him to work closely with the other members of the department to identify and resolve issues quickly. Adam joined the Toppesfield team in 2015 as a trainee in a gang and progressed into maintenance, earning his level 2 and 3 diplomas and NVQ in Plant Engineering. In 2020, the Plant Hire Association awarded him the National and Regional Engineer of the Year award.
Outside of work, Adam maintains his mechanical skills through his interest in motorbikes and is a huge Aston Villa fan.
