Role Description
As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and organising resources, including labour and equipment, to safely achieve maximum efficiency and productivity. You will ensure adherence to Health and Safety standards and maintain the company’s strong reputation among clients and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the Foreman and Surfacing gang on the daily operational delivery of the works to meet the clients’ expectations and achieve the commercial objectives.
- Managing on site paperwork and other relevant administration tasks through Reflow in line with company requirements
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and briefings, submitting confirmation via Reflow.
- Complete safety inspections as required and ensure action points are raised and closed in a timely manner.
- Report observations and near misses, assist in incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and completed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors to enhance the company’s professional reputation.
- Place timely, accurate orders for materials and equipment to ensure efficient production
- Complete a site-specific risk assessment ensuring that appropriate control measures can be implemented to complete the work safely.
- Ensure that all sweeper / sprayer checks are completed and submitted via Reflow.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate focus and determination to achieve successful outcomes, take the initiative and the ability to drive and motivate the site team.
Experience:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Supervisor who has extensive operational experience within asphalt surfacing and a can demonstrate an excellent knowledge of asphalt materials.
